 One wouldn't think the Fort Wayne Daisies of the All-American Girls
Baseball League and the Fort Wayne Komets would have had anything in common. But they did. Ernie Berg and Harold Van Orman, the two original owners of the International Hockey League Franchise, were both involved with the Daisies. Berg was the team's business manager and Van Orman a member of the Daisies' board of directors. MORE |
